Chapter 2 (the aforementioned).
Agúnbiadé was not only told he would enjoy a thing that comes with two consequences,he was also told what the consequences are,but the thing to be enjoyed is for the tree to reveal to agunbiade itself. He was told the consequences are that if Agúnbiadé fails to adhere to the commandments of the tree in anyways, he would suffer two great calamities which are that he would either loose his children leaving him and his wife barren all the days of their lives or he and his family suffers till the end of time. The man who explain this to agunbiade didn’t end there but ended his talk by saying there’s a solution out of everything which is nothing but for him to make a very long journey to a village called aiyétòrò to meet a fulani man by the name manzi who happened to have dealt with such cases in the past and has been very able to bring out the affected family out of the calamity on his own’s terms and conditions.
Upon hearing all these,Agunbiade became so sad and decided to think of a way out.
When he returned back home he thought to himself that the two consequences are truly a great problem and the only one advantageous solution has a condition known to no one but the fulani man.
For some moment, Agúnbiadé thought to himself again and again what these conditions could be,”could it be that I will lose one of my family or what”.Now Agúnbiadé needs to wait to receive the revelation of the enjoyment so as to know how to tackle the problem at hand.
Agunbiade being a very strong man,he continues his work as a farmer, as an husband and as a father of two without telling a soul what it is that was going wrong with him.
One day when the family was fast asleep, agunbiade had a dream that he became the king of the community and that the kingship was made permanent to him,his family and his generations to come. Also in the dream he was very wealthy and very influential.
Agunbiade woke up with tears knowing fully well that the dream he had is as a result of the aforementioned revelation he was to see.
When Agúnbiadé looked into this situation critically he made his decision to go on the alternative journey to aiyétòrò to see manzi the fulani man.
Who is this manzi the fulani man?,What does it take for agúnbiadé to reach aiyétòrò?,and what is it that is the solution to the problem agunbiade has?
These are what we would be looking into as we progress down the storyline in chapter 3.
